Summer (March to June): It is a peak tourist season in Shimla as the weather is quite pleasant with sunny days that are perfect for different outdoor activities. By Bus: There are various bus services including Himachal Road Transport Corporation buses as well as private operators to easily take you to Shimla. The town is connected to all major cities in North India including Chandigarh, Delhi, Manali, etc. From the ISBT, you can hire a taxi to reach your destination within a few minutes.

By Train: Shimla has a small railway station, which is 8 km from Shimla Greens Hotel. The famous toy train goes between Kalka and Shimla, covering a distance of 96 kilometres in about 7 hours. Kalka is the nearest railhead to Shimla – it is connected to Chandigarh and Delhi by regular trains. You can board the Kalka Shatabdi that goes from New Delhi Railway Station to Kalka Railway Station via Chandigarh.
